Headshot

Becky asked me if I’d like to take some headshots of her son Chris.   He’s an actor and attends a performing arts high school.  I’ve met Chris before but hadn’t seen him for years.  I think he was like 9 years old when I saw him last.   Well he turned 15 on Sunday, so it’s been a while!

We met at the Walt Disney Concert Hall downtown.  A location I am familiar with but never took pictures with my good camera.  I think the last time I was there was with my Mom and Dad when they came out to visit.   As I waited for Chris & Becky to arrive I was struck as to how many photo shoots were going on around me.  A bus pulled up and a huge bridal party got out with much fanfare.  They were all gorgeous and the bridesmades had on these real pretty purple dresses… ah but I digress.

Chris and Becky arrived and we got down to business.  One of the first shots outside against the buildings metal skin was one of my favorites.   Chris was a total pro and a really good model.  It was pose “click” pose “click” pose “click”.   Really fluid and fun and professional.  The 85mm 1.2 was great then I moved over to the 55mm 1.4 to get the full body shots.

We went around the exterior of the Disney Hall then across the street to Angel’s Flight, down around the block then back up and done.

I had a great time and would love to do another shoot with him.  It was a good day and we have too many photos that are good.  I am finally happy with my work.
