Veteran’s Day

Here’s my Dad and his brother Paul circa 1972 in Viet Nam.   They were both career Army officers and had great careers that took both of them all over the world.   My Dad served in the Korean War and went to Viet Nam.  Twice.  He was commanding officer of Operation New Life that processed Vietnamese refugees coming to America.    He was also active in Iran  right before the hostage crisis.     I don’t know all of the details of Uncle Paul but I know he did serve in Viet Nam, was stationed in Lybia, Greece, Germany and West Point amongst other places.

One of my New Year’s resolutions for 2013 is to go visit Uncle Paul, Aunt Deane, Aunt Carol and Aunt Carole and interview them.  We can’t let the great stories of our lives not be told!
