Didi Didi Bo Bidi

Banana Fanna Fo Fidi, Didi!

Oh she’s my girl.  My little baby girl.  I love her so much I can’t stand it.  She loves to play and interact face to face and she has a lot of energy.  Yes, she’ll sleep, like a cat does, for hours on end but she has a lot of energy and is very active!   She’ll paw at my leg if I’m not playing with her right when she wants to.  In the morning, we have a routine.  I get up and go to the bathroom and, you know, do my thing.  Most of the time she’ll paw at my PJ bottoms and pull them down (if I let her).   We do a scratching routine on the bathmat – I scratch her and she purs real loud.  Then she jumps in and out of the tub – sometimes twice.  Then I can turn on the shower.   She follows me back to my closet when I get dressed then out to the kitchen to have breakfast.

She’s got a little skin problem and eye problem right now. I need to take her in to see Dr. Kent at Westside Hospital for Cats.   The problem with that is she’s red tagged.  Meaning she turns into a total bitch once she walks in the door (Didi, not Dr. Kent)  and they have to use giant leather gloves to examine her.  So now we knock her out.  It’s seems harsh but really is the least stressful thing for everyone, especially Didi.    Dr. Kent and WHC are the best.  I’ve been going there for years and year – Smitty being the first one and now Miss Didi.

I wish I could do more for her.  Communicate better.  Give her more of my time.  My heart aches that I have to go to work and leave her.   My little Didi cat.
