Same Time Different Year

Around this time last year Elaine got married.   I went to her wedding at Casa del Mar literally right after I got off the plane from Chicago on my Oprah trip.   I had taken some engagement photos of Elaine and Chris last June.  A memorable day not only because I got to spend a great day at the beach with Elaine and her then fiance Chris, but my father passed away that night.   Sad but true.

On a lighter note, we had a baby shower for Elaine today.  Almost a year after she and Chris married they’re expecting their first child on Christmas day.   We’ll see if she makes it that long.   Seems ready to pop to me!   She looks great though and kind of doesn’t even look pregnant until you see her waistline.  🙂

They chose not to find out the gender of their child.  So old school and so exciting to find out at the time of delivery!   It’s a boy!  It’s a girl!    Can’t wait to meet the little one.
